The world has long outgrown the nursery rhyme about the frivolous nature of women, who are required to provide entertainment, or are seen as representing a guilty pleasure.

More importantly, women are taking themselves seriously, and are prepared to display all the qualities that are needed to succeed in the modern world, and are demanding their place at the table. A seat that they must prove themselves worthy of occupying.

Having said this, and as today’s quote highlights, in order to succeed and be taken seriously, women must demonstrate grit – which they have in spades. It is just a matter of tapping into their innate qualities, and stop listening to naysayers and nursery rhymes.
