In almost every aspect of a woman’s life, she will encounter the ‘glass ceiling’ – limitations that have been established for her aspirations, either by tradition or law. Unfortunately, some of the most fervent adherers to these limitations are other women; and so it is easy to succumb to the pressure, not rock the boat and maintain the status quo.

Breaking free of those limitation can truly test the mettle of any woman who dares to try, as there can there be strong resistance and opposition, which can lead to self-doubt and being alienated from the circle or community. It is therefore a very strong woman who risks the disapproval of her community to do something that others believe should not be done.
