One of the things we ought to know for sure right now is that our tomorrow is shaped by what we do today. We tend to think primarily in terms of our actions, and what we do, and not necessarily our omissions, that is the things we do not do.
The things we do not do are often the result of doubt. We hesitate or are uncertain whether pursuing a particular course of action will yield the results we desire. We thus don’t do anything, or we act in a way to counteract whatever doubts we have.
Having said this, we ought to be reminded that when we act from a position of doubt, we are still making a choice. However, what doubt does is limit the possibilities of the situation, which will also be reflected in how that situation unfolds.
Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:
- To what degree do I allow doubt to dictate my choices?
- How satisfied am I with the horizons I set for myself?
Best wishes and have a great day!
