In today’s world, and thanks to the variety of media available, we have been conditioned to want a certain kind of success. As a result, it is easy to get caught up in what is trending and difficult to resist the temptation to ‘copy and paste’ in our lives what others have done to reap the success we think we desire.

However, the odds are that if we try to slavishly imitate others, rarely will we achieve anything near to their level of success. Each of us has a unique path, and consequently a unique journey in life.

Instead, we are concerned about nurturing our authentic selves and figuring out our own path. We should not be afraid to implement our own ideas. And if we fail, these would be experiences from which we can learn, which will enrich us and make for a more exciting journey!
