As a woman living in the developing world, it is very difficult to acquire the level of confidence it takes to be completely self-assured, self-confident and self-directed. In many instances, we are the first generation of women who have achieved financial independence but we were raised to be selfless in our relationships with family, friends and colleagues. Therefore, it is extremely difficult to even begin to define yourself outside of the boundaries of being someone’s daughter. wife or mother.

However, in this day and age, these are among the greatest challenges you must overcome: to fully know who you are; to know what you want; and to know what you deserve.

For each person, the journey to those answers is different, but it is a journey worth taking, in order to live authentically and in your truth.
