The odds are that you have big dreams for your future. Depending on your age and stage in life, your dreams might include being able to retire early, moving into a dream home, finally becoming debt free, running a marathon, climbing Everest… the sky’s the limit.
It is easy to have big dreams. The difficulty is doing what needs to be done to achieve them. However, when we realise that our goals are big, hairy and audacious, we get scared. We are intimidated by them, and lose confidence in our ability to achieve them – even before we start.
However, almost every goal is made up of several steps that build upon each other to move you closer to the finish line. So instead of focusing on your seemingly big, hairy and audacious dream, put your attention of the smaller tasks you need to complete, and before you know it, you will be well on your way to achieving your dream.
Finally, it is important to highlight that this approach can be readily applied to your life as a whole. To live in the moment, to live in the moment intentionally, to do the small things that you can do in the moment, and they will build upon each other, and shape your life days, weeks, months and even years ahead.
Best wishes and have a great day!!
