The definition of ‘queen’ has truly overturned the traditional concept of the queen as the person of privilege who is waited on ‘hand and foot’, and never gets involved in important decisions that are being made around her. It is a rarefied life that none of us enjoy, because whether we realise it or not, we are fully responsible for our lives, and the consequences – good or bad – that occur.
However, many of us try to run away from our ‘failures’. We deny their existence and try to suppress them, and in the end, we fail to appreciate the invaluable opportunities that these failures provide for us to learn, grow, and become better than we were before.
As a queen that you are, you are being encouraged to take the lead in your life: get involved, lead from in front, and be unafraid of failure, which serves to make you more resilient and more prepared for the journey that lies ahead.
Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:
- Am I a queen?
- How afraid am I of failure?
- Do I believe that I am destined for greatness?
Best wishes, and have a great day!
