When we see words such as ‘passion’, it usually conjures up the sense of strong feelings, usually of excitement and enthusiasm about or for something, or about doing something. Passion gives us a light in our eyes, or a fire within our being, which others can sense. Moreover, and to a considerable degree, when we are passionate about something, our energy is different, and we move with a sense of purpose.
Sadly, many of us are not passionate about anything in our lives. Our lives have fallen into a mind-numbing routine, which frequently, is reflected in not only how we move about in our lives, but also how we respond to life.
There are also many among us who are unfulfilled in their life as it is currently constituted. However, they may not know, or sadly are not yet prepared to make the effort to change aspects of their lives that are no longer working for them.
Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:
- Am I happy in my life?
- Am I happy with who I am and the path that I am on?
- Am I passionate about any specific aspects of my life?
- If I want to increase my passion for life and/or for myself, what changes would I like to make?
Best wishes, and have a great day!
