How many times have we failed to achieve a goal because we were unable to impress the gatekeeper? We would then blame ourselves for not being properly prepared, and we will try again without success, because we were told, “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again.”
When we have not been successful, we need to be confident in our abilities and realise that we may need to forge our own path, instead of using what had been created by others. If we are brave enough – to bet on ourselves – we can succeed beyond our wildest dreams.
Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:
- How do I interpret failure, or an experience for which I did not achieve ‘the desired outcome’?
- How prepared am I to be tenacious?
- How brave am I to forge my own path?
Best wishes and have a great day!
