Daily Inspiration, for 15 December 2021

by | Dec 15, 2021 | Inspiration

We should all take great comfort from today’s quote by former Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States of America, Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who was a passionate advocate for gender equality and women’s rights. Although this quote may have been uttered within the context of the workplace,, it is applicable to almost all facets of our lives.

For example, as it relates to personal growth and development, meaningful growth and evolution tends to occur over time, and with consistent and conscious effort. All too often, fly-by-night fixes do not work in the long term. Yes, they can give you a bit of a head start, such as going on a severe diet, but thereafter, it is a daily battle not to backslide to what had been.

Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:

  • What are some personal development goals I am setting for 2022?
  • What strategies have I put in place to make meaningful progress towards those goals?
  • Are there any habits that I have implemented, or intend to implement, to help me achieve those goals?

Best wishes, and have a great day!
