Impediments are those occurrences in life that serve to slow us down, and more often than not, to re-evaluate our circumstances. In many instances, these impediments separate us from the pack: we are no longer a part of the herd.

Faced with these challenges, we are now forced to take a long hard look at ourselves and our situation. Frequently, we are called upon to make tough choices, that may not only affect ourselves, but also those around us. However, when we make choices that are in tune with our goals and desires, and are aligned with who we are, to our surprise they tend to be the best things that could have happened to us.
