How many of us are brave enough to express that level of self-confidence and to put ourselves on the line?

Yet if you reflect for a moment, you will realize that the only person you can really depend on is you. But if we express that sentiment, we run the risk of being labelled as arrogant and self-centred.

But the fact of the matter is that without self-confidence, you will be unable to move outside your comfort zone. More importantly, you will not be able to fully move forward with the people and with the opportunities that life inevitably presents.

• How confident am I in myself and my abilities?
• Am I prepared to bet on myself?
• In what circumstances might I not be as confident in myself as I would like?
