We, women, can be a difficult bunch. We can be very harsh and competitive with other women, and so rarely does a true sisterhood exist with women we say are our friends.
It therefore means that sharing and communing with other women is not natural for us. And so, the concept of encouraging other women or reaching back to help others get ahead is something that on our own, we would almost never do.
However, when women share and help each other, it can be a powerful and enriching experience for all concerned.
As women, we tend to have an innate instinct to nurture, which can be the basis of deep and long-lasting bonds with the women in your circle.
Throughout the day, we invite you to revisit this quote. Below are a few questions you may wish to ask yourself, and those who journal may find them especially useful:
- Do I have close and longtime female friends with whom I share virtually everything in my life and vice versa?
- To what degree to I look at other women with suspicion, especially when they indicate that they wish to help me?
- To what degree am I prepared to help other women get ahead and be the very best version of themselves?
Best wishes and have a great day!
