In most societies, failure is frowned upon, and not seen as part of the learning process. Should you fail at certain things, it can have an adverse impact on the quality of your life for months, or even years, to come.
We thus actively avoid failure, even in situations where the odds of success are high. However, it also means that we have not given ourselves the opportunity to develop, and to strengthen our resilience – in the face of failure.
When we experience failure, it can seem like the end of the world. We struggle to dust ourselves off and get back on our feet. However, sometimes, it is only when we experience failure that we are forced to take stock. And if we are honest, we discover new insights that could help us go forward: more determined and confident.
Best wishes, and have a great day!
