Have you ever noticed how when you are engaged in some strenuous activity where intense concentration is required sometimes you hold your breath?

Taking deep breaths is one way to use calm yourself and help you relax. Unfortunately, in our effort to be purposeful in our lives, we become so intense in planning our every move that we forget to live in the moment because we are unable to control the future.

However, the future is not guaranteed for anyone. All you have is now. And one of the ways to ensure that you remain in the now and can be intentional is to be aware of your breath.
