Destiny, fate and karma are concepts that suggest that life is determined by powers beyond our control. This view of life appears in every culture of the world. But what if we could control our destiny? Or better yet, believe that we are masters of our own destiny?

Inherently, it would mean that we take full responsibility for our thoughts, actions and outcomes.  Because without a sense of our destiny, or our own vision of our future, we can fall prey to learned helplessness and victimization, where everyone else and everything outside of ourselves has more power in determining our future than we have.

But when we are proactive in creating our own destiny – and are open to help that is being provided along the way – often, the universe is prepared to bring us to the opportunities that are aligned with who we really are and what we want to achieve.
